River Mersey - 08 July 1967

My contribution to recording the history of bygone days! This shows the New Brighton ferry terminal to the left. For the second time inside two years I was enjoying myself touring the Mersey (and Manchester) dock complexes of those days. Staying at a nice B&B in New Brighton.

And, oh, yes, that's the ROYAL DAFFODIL II underway midstream. Would she be heading a bit further towards the river mouth before swinging to berth at the pier?

This is the best I could enlarge her!
