Back then, being only 10 years into my ship observing hobby, with a much better memory than now, and having sighted only 2500 ships (this was sighting no. 2499) [now circa 12,500], I was quite excited to see her as I knew she was a renaming of a vessel I had seen previously. However, such was not on quite the same scale as another sighting (ship no. 2470) seen a little earlier that day, that was the EFORIE, renamed since I first saw her as BEREZINA!
