WESTWARD HO (5377381), Townsend Car Ferries Ltd., Cardiff, 600gt, built J.I. Thornycroft & Co. Ltd., Southampton, 1938, ex Vecta-66. (last seen, if I recall correctly, up the Manchester Ship Canal several years later?)

23.01.06: Picked up from George Robinson's RIVERSEA INTERNATIONAL that:
later NORTH WESTWARD HO and taken to Manchester as a restaurant in 1972; then to the Thames from 1985; Broken up in Cornwall in 1996?

I might have to check my own records but I'm fairly sure that when I saw her at Manchester (1975, I think) she still carried just her original name? (Or maybe I wasn't paying full attention!?)
